World Heritage

Gokayama (gaya-yama) is located in the nature-rich mountain area located along the Shoso river at the southwest end of Toyama prefecture, with traditional colonial settlements dotted in the heart of the mountains.
Among them, the Aikura village and the Suganuma village are registered as "World Heritage" together with the Ogi-cho village of Gifu Prefecture Shirakawago.
A rustic rural settlement wrapped in silence is the original landscape of Japan itself.
I feel caught like a time slip.
Gokayama is the production center of washi donated to Kaga lord, and still sounds a lot of paper.
Also known as a treasure house of folk songs representative of "Kon Riko", old-fashioned traditional culture surpasses the times.
